Hojicha Powder - Shizuoka | Tin Can (40 g)
A pure hojicha powder from Shizuoka, one of Japan's most celebrated tea-growing regions.
Unlike most teas, hojicha goes through a roasting process that transforms the leaves into something deeper and warmer in character. The result is a smooth, full-bodied cup with a naturally low caffeine content, making it the perfect drink for afternoons and evenings when you still want something special without the buzz.
Whisk it into hot water for a classic hojicha, or layer it with your favourite milk for a creamy hojicha latte. Either way, it's effortless.

What's the difference between matcha and hojicha?
Both come from the same tea plant, but they're very different in character. Matcha is made from shade-grown leaves, carefully ground into a bright green powder with a fresh, grassy flavour and a noticeable caffeine kick. Hojicha takes a different path; the leaves are roasted over charcoal, which gives it that distinctive warm, toasty flavour and brings the caffeine level right down. Same origin, completely different experience. If matcha is your morning, hojicha is your evening.
