About our Matcha

Matcha is powdered green tea made from whole shade-grown leaves. Unlike regular green tea where you steep and discard the leaves, with Matcha you consume the entire leaf, meaning more antioxidants, more nutrients, and a much richer taste.

Our matcha is sourced from carefully selected tea farms in Japan and China, chosen for their commitment to quality and ethical farming practices. Each farm is certified by the Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade, so you can trust that what's in your cup is not only delicious but responsibly made. First harvest, every time.

Add a dose of Matcha into your bowl or cup, add a small amount of hot water (around 70°C, not boiling as it can make it bitter), and whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Top up with more water or steamed milk for a latte. With our single serve sticks, the dose is already measured for you so there is no guesswork involved.

Matcha contains caffeine, so we recommend consuming it in moderation during pregnancy. Most health guidelines suggest keeping caffeine intake under 200mg per day while pregnant, and a single serving of matcha contains around 30 to 70mg. That said, every pregnancy is different and we always recommend checking with your doctor or midwife before adding matcha to your routine

Matcha is best enjoyed within 3 months of opening. To keep it fresh, store it in a cool, dark place away from moisture and strong smells.

Yes! We ship to most European countries including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and many more. Delivery times vary by country but we always aim to get your matcha to you as fast as possible because nobody should have to wait too long for a good cup

If you are based in the Netherlands, expect your matcha at your door within 1 to 2 business days. For the rest of Europe, delivery times vary by country but we always ship as fast as we can.

We offer a 14 day return policy from the date you receive your order. Items must be unopened and in their original packaging. To start a return, contact us at hello@zenaratea.com and we will sort it out. Received something damaged or incorrect? Reach out immediately and we will make it right. EU customers have the right to cancel within 3 days of receiving their order, no questions asked. Learn more here.
