To properly prepare matcha tea, you will need, in addition to this bamboo whisk (chasen), a matcha bowl (chawan): :
Heat the Chawan and Chasen: Warm up the whisk and the bowl with very hot water. Wait 30 seconds, discard the water, and carefully dry the bowl.
Add Matcha Powder: Add one Zenara Single-Serve Matcha stick
Pour Hot Water and Whisk: Pour 70 ml of hot water (not boiled!) over the matcha powder and whisk until frothy.
Serve and Enjoy: You can drink the matcha tea as is for a concentrated flavour, add more water if you prefer a milder taste, or add 190 ml of hot or cold milk to prepare a matcha latte.
